So I really suck at this challenge. I never plan to do this again. After this, I'll stick to general blogging. Especially since A LOT is about to be happening in my life.
Day 16- Another picture of yourself (baby pic!)
I'll edit this later and add one. All of our pictures are boxed up.
Day 17- Someone you would want to switch lives with for one day and why
J.K. Rowling. And why? Seriously? I'm hoping that's a rhetorical question because who WOULDN'T want to experience her life, if only for a day? She is ADORED by hundreds of thousands of people. She created a whole world all it's own. A world that spurred non-profit organizations and a musical movement. A world that, for some, is the reason they are alive today. Not many authors can say that they've made that kind of an impact. Hell, not many people can say that. Impacting a handful of people, okay. But an entire generation? That's a phenomena that only those IN it could possibly understand.
I would love to be in her shoes and watch my story, the world I created, be such a monumental influence on so many. She has instilled morals in the young adults her story has touched, potentially changing and shaping who they are or who they become.
If I were her for a day, I would sit in awe. I would soak it all in. Though, a day may not be long enough to truly soak it in. She is so loved by her fandom. Even in her shoes, I don't think I could comprehend it.
Day 18- Plans/dreams/goals you have
I try not to actually plan much. I like to let things happen for the most part. I plan trips and vacations. I'm planning to move to Michigan at the end of the month. But I don't want to have a set PLAN for my life.
I dream about having a family. I always have. I feel like that wife/mother is a role I was born to have.
Goals. I have a lot actually. Trying to nail down just one to try and pursue is the problem. I'd love to take my Pure Romance career as far as it can go. Maybe make a difference in the lives of women. If I could help just ONE woman feel better about herself or her relationship, I'd feel like I've done my job right and I'm a success.
I'd also LOVE to maybe one day open my own coffee/cupcake shop. Where everything is organic and gluten-free. Of course, money (or lack there of) plays a factor in this goal. Starting a business isn't cheap. They don't just give buildings and equipment away unfortunately. Let me know if you hear otherwise.
I would also be one hell of a makeup artist. That is something I've always seen myself doing. It's something I'm good at, something I enjoy. But of course, to do anything in the industry, money becomes a factor again. Schooling is required to get a certificate and that certificate is required to have a decent career.
Day 19- Nicknames you have; why do you have them
I don't really have any? My mom calls me "Ta". When I was younger, I couldn't say my name. So I called myself "ta-ta". My mom shortened it.
Day 20- Someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future
I'm already married to Lee AND Jenna. Isn't that enough?
Day 21- A picture of something/someone that makes you happy
Day 22- What makes you different from everyone else
EVERYTHING! That's what Derek said anyway. So I'll stick with that even though he didn't give a legitimate explanation.
Day 23- Something you crave for a lot
Here lately? A freaking "The Works" bagel from Bagel Beanery in Kalamazoo, Michigan. 25 days till I can have one of those bad boys.
